Recommended by vets, Suregrow is ideal for broodmares (post weaning - last trimester), barren mares and youngstock grazing good pasture that do not require additional calories in their diet. It can also be fed as a balancer to help avoid overtopping Read More...or to top-up vitamin and mineral intake when feeding less than the recommended quantities of other stud diets such as Stud Cubes or Rearing Diet.

Feeding guide

Suregrow can be used as the sole concentrate feed or to top up vitamin and mineral intake on a pro rata basis when feeding less than the recommended levelof other stud feeds. Feed in conjunction with free access to forage.

As the sole concentrate:

  • 0-6 months: feed 550g/100kg bodyweight.
  • 6-12 months: feed 350g/100kg bodyweight.
  • 12 months-adult: feed 250g/100kg bodyweight.

Do not exceed (per day):

  • 0-6 months: 750g/100kg bodyweight.
  • 6-12 months: 550g/100kg bodyweight.
  • 12 months-adult: 350g/100kg bodyweight.

Divide into at least 2-3 meals per day.

Remember to weigh how much feed your scoop holds as they are all different and you may end up under or over feeding your horse or pony.

Feed in conjunction with free access to forage.

Fresh drinking water must be available at all times.
